Group Introduction
T
his is a semi-dark themed group where the 'players' must fight for their lives against monsters in order to survive. Something called World 00 has mysteriously appeared out of nowhere. It creates an alternate reality that mimics the actual city where everyone lives. A special device has appeared to all those who 'qualify' to be a player in its game letting them know that they have been chosen.
The 'players' of the game are a special kind of people..they are those who committed 'murder', more specifically killing someone blood related to them. They are called 'Zeros', a name to show that they are the outcasts of society and belong to none of the zones of the city. There is no option for not participating in the game.
Is this game a form of 'punishment' for the crime they committed? Who knows...the only way to find out is by surviving the games long enough to learn the truth.
Group Guidelines
If you have a suggestion, please send a note to the group with all the info you have defending your suggestion or reasons behind why you make the decision so we can bring it up to the mods. Please do not personally note or message the mods about suggestion topics as it is best to keep these things in a formal group setting by having it through notes.
If you wish to report someone, make sure you screenshot the conversation for proof if you wish to go to the mods if you see anyone breaking the rules. The mods will talk it out with you before deciding if this report will have them deliver a warning to the other user. The mods are also here if you would just like to talk it out with someone.
If a member receives 3 warnings member will be removed from the group. This will be done discretely and no scene will be made of it as the mods will contact them privately by note. We want to handle things as respectfully as we can.
Chatroom Guidelines
Group Advertising. We welcome group sharing but please do not spam the chat rooms OR just come into the chat rooms just to advertise.
Keep rated talk to night time. Fluff of course is fine, there will be character 'deaths' during battles or injuries so there maybe violent RPs but overall rated sexual intercourse is not allowed in the chat rooms and should be done in private. Please also watch your topics in OOC chat if it is not late at night.
Please do remember that the battle is meant just for fun. It is all completely by luck and randomizer. Mods always use randomizer based on the stat of their dex / agi to decide if a player will double hit or critical hit and who the monster hits.A player does not have a 100% chance of always doing it no matter how high the stat.
Please remember that we do battles around mod's available schedules. Do not hound the mods just because they appear in the chat room.
Events
Game Event Mandatory for the group's story line. ( 6 in total ) They occur depending on the activity of the group. So if the activity is very low then the story will not progress. You can miss an event but for every event you miss you lose a 'life'. You cannot miss 2 games in a row or you will be kicked. If you lose all your lives you will be kicked from the group.
Trigger / Holiday / Mini-Event These are completely optional events. They can be member run sometimes or AU / holiday events. They are just meant to be for fun in between Mandatory events.
AU Trigger Events Occurs when at least 30 people fill out the same AU meme. A special event will occur with the meme's theme. Those who did not do the meme when the event is triggered will still be allowed to participate and given time to complete the meme to join in. This event is also completely optional.
Member Run Events Will give Members the options to work together in groups to create an event that they will run. A team effort will be done between the mods and that team to work together to set it all up. More info about Member Run events will be posted later.

Setting of the group is modern / present day. The City (
fav.me/d4zy21m) is located in the location of L.A ( California ) and is inspired by the different areas. The City is a large metropolis split up into 5 environmentally and functionally diverse zones (Central Zone and Zones 1-4) that are connected by a major Metrolink. People of all backgrounds and cultures live in City. For details on each zone, please view the map.
World 00 is a mysterious dimension where Zeros must compete as players in a game of survival. Everything in the World appears the same as The City except that the people are NPCs. The setting where the games take place changes from game to game. Zeros must survive until midnight strikes in World 00 of the Game's deadline before they are then returned to reality. The World is something that had just recently appeared in the City. ( why it appeared is still unknown )
Entering into the World. Player is notified 10 minutes in advance of the start of a game through their devices. Player then chooses to participate or not - passing a game (not doing an main event) results in loss of a life. Losing all lives results in real death, either IRL or in World 00. ( kicked from the group ) Once the Game begins Players are automatically teleported into the World. Time freezes in reality while they are in the World. They will be transported back to the location from which they entered once the game is over at the exact same moment they had left at.
Battle Participation. A completely optional and extra way to earn EXP or items through chat room events where Players will fight against Monsters or Keepers based on the stats they have. For battles Players are not notified ahead of time and are transported at random to the Battle in the World. They will return to the world uninjured even if they suffered them in the World. They will feel an aches or exhaustion but will not show any physical evidence of injuries. When a Player dies in battle they will remain unconscious until the game ends. Dying in battle does not lose a 'life'. Lives are only lost by not participating in a Game Event ( mandatory event )
Players are known as Zeros. They are people who have killed a blood relative and discovered one fateful day that they now have 0-like pupils and an electronic device welcoming them to the new world. ( the pupil / device only appeared when the World came to the City, not right after they committed the murder ) They are not all 'killers' as some deaths may have been accidents. In World 00 Zero's gain an alternate appearance, called their Zero Form, that sometimes may not even resemble their real appearance. Along with their new looks they also gain a demonic weapon to help them survive in the World. The name Zero comes from the fact that as murderers they are now outcasts of City, and no longer belong any of the Zones 1-4.
Electronic Device All players will have this device. it notifies players of things happening in World 00 as well as keeping in contact with others. Although it cannot make calls, it can still send messages, pictures, and run other available apps. Players receive this the same time their Zero Pupils appear. It will have appeared mysteriously somewhere for them to find. It cannot be lost and will always return back somehow.....
ID Numbers. These are very important and are used for everything to keep track of your character's EXP and progress. ID
#s are first come first serve for current members. If someone leaves the group or a character 'dies' their name is striked off from the list - their number is not reusable. Applicants will pick their number after they are accepted into the group.
Keepers are the mods of the Zero World. Keepers are created by the World as mouthpieces and help run the events the World has planned. They are not exactly NPCs since they will progress as a character and will affect the group's plot. Members aren't allowed to make these. Keepers are either physical or magical. They can vary in appearance from demonic to angelic to overall mythical. Their personalities can be anything from nice to cynical depending on what role they were created for.
Lives & Levels & Stats Everyone starts off with 3 lives. AKA how many strikes you have for missing a mandatory event. If you run out you will be kicked from the group. Levels are gained through EXP earning and for every level you earn you gain 3 stat points to use how you see fit. Stats allow Players to customize themselves for better survival. Stats can be changed around at any time.
Can they talk to others who aren't Zeros about the World? They will find themselves unable to speak or talk directly about the Zero world. They can however speak of it if they are describing it as a 'dream' and not something 'real'.
Can we enter the World together ? Players must be physically touching in order to be transported to the same area. Otherwise, it is random. Teaming up before the start of a game can be a helpful strategy for survival.
Can I escape by leaving City ?No. The device will still work outside of City and you will be pulled back into the game.
How to Join There is a limited amount of slots and openings held to fill these when needed. Please consult the journal located
Here. Members applying only have to make the ap, the device they can make after they are accepted since that is also when they will be able to get their ID #.
Activity Check. Yes we do wish to have active members, if at times you are busy with irl and etc that is fine as long as you are making an effort to try and be active in the group. If you do not participate in an event you will lose a life for passing on the game. Lives are meant to keep track of your activity in the group can can only be lost if you do not participate in a Game Event. You cannot miss 2 mandatory events in a row or you will be kicked from the group.
If you would like to leave the group PLEASE notify us. Your character will be striked off from the zero list and taken as that they are now deceased unless told otherwise. It is just a courtesy to let us know ahead that you are leaving the group, you do not have to tell us your reasons though.
Can I make a new character ? Yes if you are a current member and your current character is level 10 you are allowed to contact the group to let the mods know you wish to 'kill' your character off and make a new one. You will be able to keep your items but not your exp or level. You will have a limit of 2 months to complete the new app and send it to the group VIA note.
